Project Description
Ceramic Veneers
If you have chipped, cracked, or discoloured teeth, you may want to consider cosmetic ceramic veneers.
What Are Veneers
A veneer is a very thin, tooth-coloured piece of porcelain (like a false fingernail or shell, but more durable) that is bonded on top of your own tooth to cover the front of the teeth to improve their appearance. Veneers are great because they look like natural teeth and don’t require a major procedure.
The preparation for and application of dental veneers can usually be completed in about two to three visits over the course of a six-week period.
Ceramic Veneers are Versatile!
With their ability to correct cosmetic malocclusions such as issues with tooth spacing and positioning, veneers are sometimes referred to as “instant orthodontics.” Indeed, for some patients, these cosmetic restorations serve as a wonderful alternative to more invasive orthodontic options.
Ceramic veneers may also serve as a stand-alone solution for the correction of many cosmetic problems impacting a single smile – allowing them to provide a complete smile makeover in some instances.
Problems Fixed by Dental Venners Include:
Teeth with worn enamel that is dull and stained
Unevenness in teeth caused by chipping
Gaps that are present between teeth
Broken and discoloured teeth
